Language Arts News Articles Completed!
- Good copy news articles have been returned to students, along with a rubric and comments from Mr. Trueman, showing and explaining their marks.
- Students have been asked to communicate the following in their agenda:
Q: What if you or your child is not satisfied with a mark received?
- Your child is responsible for requesting a meeting with Mr. Trueman to discuss their news article and to explain how they are planning on improving it.
(Some students have already approached Mr. T. and have made a plan for improvements.)
- Mr. Trueman must agree to assessing the work for a second time, and that will be dependent on the student's explanation of their own work, understanding where they did well, and where they can improve their mark.
- Once improvements have been made by the student, they may hand it in a second time for Mr. Trueman to assess their work once again.
